I received this Organic Riot dazzle serum along with their spotlight cream. If you have followed the rantings on my blog, you would know how I never like any moisturizer ever and I am always on the lookout for a new one before I even finish the old. Please do share if you have a good recommendation for a moisturizer. Surprisingly, this time I do have a couple of very inexpensive recommendations in terms of moisturizers for dry skin.
Anyways, getting back to the product at hand, it is again a completely organic moisturizer which claims to control your hyper-pigmentation. Another thing interesting about the brand is that their packaging is made of recycled paper. Is that not impressive? Before getting into details, organic riot dazzle serum is another winner and I am definitely interested in other products they come up with.

Organic Riot Dazzle Serum Ingredients
It is interesting to note that it has kiwi seed, avocado and jojoba oils along with minor amounts of raspberry seed and tomato seed oil. I would love to get a blend of facial oil with these ingredients instead of a creme.
My Review – Organic Riot Dazzle Serum
Again, the same aesthetics. Organic Riot dazzle serum comes in a pump tube which delivers just a bit of the product. So, no product wastage there. Contrary to the expectation of a fluid, it is a creme serum which disappointed me a bit. I like my serums as liquid or oils. The texture of the serum is light and creamy and spreads easily. You need just one pump for both face and neck. May be you can make do with less as well depending on skin condition and climate.
I found organic riot dazzle serum tube perfectly easy to use and to travel with or carry around. I do store it in the refrigerator as well after my experience with the spotlight cream though this does not become liquid-y. However, being refrigerated allows only just enough product to be pumped out and it feels good to apply the cold product in hot weather.
Have you ever observed that cold products usually give a very fine and even finish to the skin and also give a matted look?
Organic Riot Dazzle Serum claims to give an even toned complexion and take care of your hyper-pigmentation. I have been using this serum exclusively for almost a month now. It gives a very even and dewy finish, leaves the skin glowing and pink even when you are not using this diligently. It definitely needs to be followed up with a moisturizer for mature skin or dry skin but the brand also suggests the same.
The product is light on the skin and does not clog the pores. I did not face any blackheads issue as well while using this. There were no dry skin patches either even though I would not use a follow up moisturizer. Regarding hyper-pigmentation, I am not sure I have observed any difference. My major peeve is my darker forehead but I do not think the serum has removed the tanning on it or reduced the discoloration but I can really not be sure.
One issue which I did notice with organic riot dazzle serum is it makes me sweat after applying it for almost 15-20 minutes before settling down. I think it is also because of the climate and it should not respond in the similar way in colder months. But, yes, it is an inconvenience especially if you are planning to put on makeup, sunscreen or even moisturizer on it. Sitting in an air-conditioned place helps with the sweat.
Overall, I am pleasantly surprised with this product. It is expensive though it will last for more than a month so if it fits your budget, I would definitely urge you to give it a try. According to me, it is a good moisturizer which you can layer over all your other treatment serums or combine with vitamin C or hyaluronic acid serum. I like to use it in the night as well and it has been good to my skin thanks to its exotic ingredients.
Have you been having trouble with finding the perfect moisturizer?
What is your favorite moisturizer? Do you like to layer it with other products? Do you like to use treatment serums like vitamin C or hyaluronic acid or retinoids, for examples? I have really like vitamin C serums as they help control the oil on the skin. Do tell me how you control the oil on your skin and make your skin look matte and dewy?
Till then, Swati.
