Nutrition Bars are really popular these days but I fall into the skeptics bracket. I have always been worried about the ingredients that go into making them, especially for the protein bars and the preservatives. Somehow, I always equate them to the factory processed foods.
So when The Lean Snack came under my radar, I was not sure. I asked them for their ingredient list and product literature before even checking out their website. So, what do I think about them?

The lean snack nutrition bars come in four flavors – mango, chocolate, dates and cranberry. The ingredient list for each of them is more or less same and is completely natural as per their labels. Oats, jagerry and butter are the base ingredients for all of their nutrition bars.
I loved dates and cranberry flavor. Even when I had skipped lunch and breakfast, this nutrition bar kept me going for half hour giving me time to prepare my next meal. Of course, I will not suggest you to skip meals. The nutrition bars are not a substitute for any meal so please do not do that. And, yes, they are a great option when you are traveling or working or just want to munch on something.
These bars keep you full for at least an hour and with proper diet in place, you will definitely not feel any cravings. The bars are rich in fiber, low on sugar, filling and release energy. The calorie count is less and it is a great pre-workout bite as well.
Overall, I loved these nutrition bars for both their taste and quality and I would definitely suggest you to try out the dates and cranberry flavors. In fact, even Mr. P (that’s my husband for those who are new) loved the dates flavor most.
These seem healthy as well as yummy. The fact that it contains jaggery instead of sugar is a big plus. Would like to try them.
yeah archana. that was my biggest worry but the ingredient list dispels all worries!
