Three months into the New Year, two years in the marriage, thirty years on Earth, seven years of blogging, almost two years of housewife cum entrepreneur. And, now, a year of milestones ahead. So many things to do, so many things to dare!
Blogging more frequently
This was supposed to start from January itself, but then I got lazy and then I got busy. Loads of news coming in the forthcoming months so yeah my time is not all wasted. But, yes, better time management would also help me in maintaining a regular blog schedule. So, let’s hope I ace this in the next quarter.
Fit, Fitter, Fittest
January is always a month well spent and December is a month well decided. The intervening months decide what you actually do in your year. I did start with yoga classes in January and then I got lazy and got off my track. I have all the excuses in the world to avoid a healthy regime – being out of station, being unwell and tomorrow is a better day. At least I have started with eating meals made at home, however they may be, a step towards better health.
Well, I am a great driver (pun intended), so great that I can run a car through a closed gate. Last time I did this, the entire fender on the left side of the car came off. But thanks to the zero-depreciation Royal Sundaram car insurance policy, we did not end up paying much for the repairs. But, I am back to square one. I am sick of waiting for a taxi or bargaining with the auto-wallahs whenever I wish to go somewhere.
A Solo Trip
This has been on my cards since a long time. But, somehow or the other, the plan never materialises. One of the major reasons is lack of my driving skills which makes me dependant on either public service or cabs which is not a good idea when you are alone and just want to get around the city. It also impairs the ability to explore in the late hours of night, national or international.
This has to be the most hilarious of my ambitions. I am a decent cook, I keep my house clean and organised. But, what I mean here is something else entirely. I mean a regular routine like our moms have. Getting up early, showering, preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner and snacks and other things in between. Well, I know it sounds boring but I want to do it in fun kind of way. Right now, I can just say I am not even trying!!! There have been months when we have only eaten out and months when house is just lying as it is, clean but not organised.
