Hi Swati, just wanted to let you know about the silk thread bangles. You will need plain plastic bangles as the base. Then take 2 colours of silk thread. Eg red & white. You will need 10 strands of thread – 6 red and 4 white. Cut each strand into an arm’s length. Then hold the strands together & using fevicol, stick it onto the inside of the plastic bangle. Then slowly wind it around the entire bangle, again using fevicol to stick it in the end. Once you make it a couple of times, you will know if an arm’s length is enough for you or not. I need more than that. If it’s not enough, then cut some more & repeat the same process. Then for the next bangle, you can cut much longer thread in the beginning itself.

You don’t have to use 2 different colours, you can use just 1 or even 3. But in my opinion, 2 shades look the best. Also the ratio of 6:4 threads is the best(IMO). Hope all this helps. Let me know if you need any clarifications. Also, if you use cotton thread, you will need fevibond as fevicol won’t work.
